2005 Reddy Cab Wine Release

You’re invited to join Bar Z Winery for a special event this Friday, July 17th at 7pm to celebrate the first release of the 2005 Reddy Vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon.

The event will feature live music from Singer/Songwriter Tyler Stanfield. Advance reservations are available but not required. $25 per person includes cover and first glass of Bar Z 2005 Reddy Cab. This will be an exclusive opportunity to taste this award winning wine by the glass, as less than 50 cases were produced and this wine will only be available by the bottle in the future.

The 2005 Reddy Cab is an artisinal, 100% Texas wine. This wine has been in production for over 10 years, handcrafted by Vintner Monty Dixon. Patience and craftsmanship have allowed the tannins to fully integrate into the wine, to result in a good firm structure providing a smooth, leathery authentically mature Bar Z wine. “The 2005 Reddy Cab was awarded a Bronze in the 2015 International Taster’s Guild Wine Competition, after only one month in the bottle- it’s only going to get better from here”, says Dixon.

TASTERS GUILD conducts an Annual International Wine Judging in the spring when hundreds of newly released wines are judged by panels of experts. Toward the end of summer they also coordinate Annual Convention & Consumer Wine Judging for members. The results of both events are reported in the Guild’s official publication, the TASTERS GUILD JOURNAL, as well as other national periodicals and at tastersguild.com.

“Colorado-based singer/songwriter Tyler Stanfield has been captivating audiences across the region for several years. The soulful vocalist and guitarist has toured the country and impressed fans at some of the biggest music festivals in the country, including Austin’s SXSW. We caught up with Tyler to gain some insight into how he warms up his vocals, stays healthy on the road, and why he doesn’t recommend drinking beer before bed (note to touring musicians).”

“His vocals are right on key, strong, smooth, and sexy!………..This is, by far, one of the best CD’s I’ve listened to in 2011.”
