Who we are
Bar Z Winery was founded by Monty Dixon back in 2004. Our tasting room at 19290 FM 1541 Canyon, Texas has been in operation since 2010. We sell our wines either on site or on our website www.barzwines.com so that we can reach every customer that enjoys a glass of 100% Texan wine. What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Here at Bar Z we only collect the information you provide when creating an online shopping account with us. We use this information to build our marketing campaigns and improve your shopping experience on our website. Bar Z collects things such as you name, address, phone number, and age.
If when creating an account, you save your card or you join our wine club, your card information is then saved. Bar Z does not have access to your card information, nor does our ecommerce system. That information is encrypted as soon as it is put into our system. All the payment information we collect is done so under SSL – a standard internet security measure. Any data that we store about you is kept behind a secure firewall in our database and is not accessible to the public in any way.
By default, WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users.
Bar Z Winery does not and will not sell any of your information with anyone. Bar Z will not share any of your private information with anyone.
Comments
Any comments left on products are to be reviewed by Bar Z Winery and can be removed at our discretion.
Contact forms
Our Contact us form collects all information we need to reach back out to you. Bar Z only collects your name, email, and phone number on these forms, so we have a way to contact you back. We do suggest sending us an email to barzwines@gmail.com or calling us at (806)488-2214 for a faster response.
Cookies
In this subsection you should list the cookies your web site uses, including those set by your plugins, social media, and analytics. We have provided the cookies which WordPress installs by default.
Analytics
Bar Z does have a stats package from Google that collects some basic information about your browser. Examples are things like what type of browser and operating system are you using; how long did you stay on our site; what pages did you look at. This helps us understand how visitors browse our site, so that we can make their shopping experience better.
Who we share your data with
Bar Z Winery does not share your information with any outside sources. The companies we use do not share private information either. Depending on what section of the website you are interacting with, Commerce7, WordPress, or google will see your information to share directly with Bar Z and no one else.
How long we retain your data
Bar Z Winery holds onto contact form entries for six months, analytics records for a year, and customer purchase records for ten years. If you have a purchasing account or Wine Club account with us, we do not delete those and it is up to you to delete your account from our records.
